Basalt resident Julie Myers has created the ideal way to resolve your grocery shopping woes, whether they’re due to time-constraint, injury or illness or lack of transportation. Myers is the founder of cart.delivery, a Roaring Fork Valley online grocery-shopping and delivery service. Members pay the cost of provisions plus 30 percent—all you need to do is email a shopping list the evening prior to your requested delivery date. Cart’s emphasis is on sustainable—and local when possible—ingredients. Currently, Myers sources from Whole Foods; next year, she plans to procure product from Roaring Fork Beginning Farmers and expand her distribution to include local restaurants.
